This year, proposals will be considered in the following areas:
- Youth Enrichment in the areas of the arts and/or sciences
- Food Insecurity Reduction
- Workforce Development
- Immigrant Support Services – specifically benefitting families affected by Federal Immigration actions.
Funding Information
- The City’s proposed FY27 budget allocates $250,000 from the general fund for Community Quality of Life grant awards.
- Grant awards will range from $5,000 to $20,000, with most awards expected to be between $8,000-$10,000.
Grant Period
July 1, 2026 and June 30, 2027.
Eligibility Criteria
- Funding is available to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations and 501(c)(6) business associations.
- The use of a fiscal agent is permitted for those organizations that have applied for but have not yet secured their 501(c)(3) determination from the IRS. Individuals and for-profit enterprises are not eligible for funding.
