Priorities

- Requests for multi-year grants are not accepted; however, an organization may re-apply for a grant each year, provided all previous grant reporting was completed.
- Requests for projects that benefit a wide area or a significant portion of the community typically receive higher priority.
- Requests may be for the entire cost or a portion of a project/program.
Eligibility Criteria
- Organizations must be recognized under IRS code 501(c)(3) to qualify for a grant. Any organization with an official relationship to city or state government (school, park district etc.) would also qualify.
- Grants shall be awarded to organizations in Bottineau County.
- Grants to religious organizations will be limited to those activities which serve the entire community (e.g. food pantry). Grants shall not support inherently religious activities, even if they are “non-denominational.”
- No grants shall be made to individuals.
- Grants shall be awarded annually at the discretion of the Advisory Committee.
