This NOFO will fund the Title II Formula Grants program Training and Technical Assistance Center to (1) strengthen state and territory-level compliance with the Formula Grants program authorized under the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act (JJDPA) and (2) develop and implement training and technical assistance that supports the effective operation of the juvenile justice system across state, territory, Tribal, and community levels.
Goals and Objectives
- Goal 1: Strengthen the ability of states, territories, and Tribes to effectively apply the elements of the JJDPA.
- Objective 1: Develop a comprehensive TTA program to assist states and territories achieve and maintain compliance with the core requirements of the JJDPA. and implementation of approved state plans.
- Objective 2: Assist states and territories develop and implement comprehensive 3-year state plans for carrying out the Title II Formula Grants program.
- Objective 3: Respond to TTA requests that support state, territorial, and Tribal juvenile justice system improvement efforts.
