The Eaton County Parks Community Grant Program assists local communities with planning, purchasing, preliminary engineering/design, and construction costs directly related to park and open space projects located in Eaton County.
Funding Information
Eligible projects must meet the $5,000 minimum and go no higher than the $400,000 maximum.

The 2026/2027 grant cycle is from July 1, 2026 to September 30, 2027.
Eligibility Criteria
Funding is only eligible to cities, villages, and townships within Eaton County for park and open space-related improvements. Projects must provide recreation, conservation, and/or natural resource access within locally owned and operated parks and open spaces. Grant projects must be located in Eaton County, Michigan.
