The grant will award to one business to fund a defined project that drives growth, enhances customer engagement, and increases business visibility. This opportunity is intended to encourage fresh ideas, strategic expansion and innovative approaches that strengthen the local business community and contribute to economic growth.
Small business owners and entrepreneurs are encouraged to apply if they are ready to take the next step—whether launching a new offering, expanding services, enhancing their space or improving customer experience
Funding Information
- One recipient will receive a total of $2,000
- $1,000 will be awarded upon selection
- $1,000 will be awarded upon completion of the approved project.
Grant Period
Projects must be completed within 12 months of the award date.
Eligible Project Types
- Equipment or tools that support expansion
- Storefront or customer-facing improvements
- Marketing tied to a specific initiative or launch
- New product or service development
- Technology or systems that enhance customer experience.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must meet the following criteria
- Be a current Chamber member or join prior to the application deadline on Monday, April 13
- Operate within Morgan County
- Generate $500,000 or less in annual revenue, or be a startup/pre-revenue business.
Ineligible Uses of Funds
- Payroll or salaries
- Rent, utilities, or general overhead
- Debt repayment
- General inventory without a defined growth initiative
