The FDG Program seeks to continue the support of food distribution currently being provided to their communities across San José to ensure they remain healthy and food secure. The organizations selected for awards will receive financial support for the direct and/or indirect costs associated with maintaining an operations model that serves the residents of San José with meals or groceries at no cost to the residents. Specific services may include, but are not limited to: the distribution of meals and/or groceries via home delivery and/or mass distribution sites, educational outreach, and technical assistance to residents for food program applications.
Duration
The City of San José has allocated funding for the first quarter of the Fiscal Year 2022-2023 spanning July 1, 2022, through September 30, 2022.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be either a nonprofit with a 501(c)(3) status, a government agency, a faith based entity, or a for-profit organization.
