Kokua Hawaii Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that supports environmental education in the schools and communities of Hawaii. Their mission is to provide students with experiences that will enhance their appreciation for and understanding of their environment so they will be lifelong stewards of the earth.
Kokua Hawaii Foundation Project Grants assist teachers from Hawaii schools in pursuing environmental stewardship endeavors and advancing their environmental goals in the classroom. The Kokua Hawaii Foundation offers financial assistance for schools which otherwise could not purchase items or services needed to reach these goals.
Funding Information
- Financial assistance is limited to $1,000 per school, per year and $200 per teacher. Multiple teachers may collaborate on a single application.
Eligibility Criteria
- Preference is given to applications from Hawaii public schools.
