Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be:
- Qualified Providence based 501(c)3 cultural organizations in good standing with the Rhode Island Secretary of State. For this NOFA, a cultural organization is defined as providing services in arts education and the promotion of artistic discipline, venues, museums, historical and humanities organizations, and organizations with a mission in cultural preservation.
- Providence-based 501(c)3 cultural organizations located in qualified census tracks (QCT) who own or can provide written permission from the property owner authorizing the repair and renovation outlined in attached construction plans, cost estimates, and/or feasibility studies in addition to a budget narrative that describes the negative impacts of the pandemic on the ability to raise funds for capital expenditure.
- Providence based 501(c)3 organizations who have already received confirmation of receipt for a RISCA State Cultural Facilities Grant and are able to submit a grant award letter from RISCA that identifies the matching funds needed in order to sign a contract with RISCA (if applying for a RISCA match).
