The City is projected to receive approximately $1,027,000.00 from the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) to be used for a wide range of activities including, but not limited to: Public Services, Public Facilities and Infrastructure Improvements, Economic Development, and Minor Home Repair Programs.
Funding Information
It is anticipated that CDBG funds will be allocated according to federal regulations:
- $154,050.00 (15% of allocation) for Public Services;
- $255,400.00 (20% of allocation) for Program Administration, includes Planning and Fair Housing Activities; and
- $617,550.00 for other eligible activities, programs, or projects.
Eligible Projects
Eligible services, projects, or activities must be within the city limits of Euclid, and must meet one of the three HUD National
Objectives:
- Benefit low- to moderate- income (LMI) persons, businesses, and/or households;
- Aid in the prevention of slums and blight; or
- Urgent need (in extraordinary special emergency circumstances).
