AAWGT is a group of community-minded women who pool their resources to invest in local nonprofits. AAWGT’s mission is to improve the quality of life of women and families in Anne Arundel County.
Since founding in 2006, Anne Arundel Women Giving Together has awarded more than $1.4 million in grants that have supported the work of 42 different nonprofit organizations across the County.
For 2022, AAWGT is particularly interested in proposals that prioritize issues of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) when addressing the underlying causes of hardship (such as childhood hunger, higher mortality rates, educational disparities, homelessness and mental health) and/or proposals that come from organizations with annual gross receipts of less than $100,000.
