Indiana: 2022 Grant Program for Food Pantries

Indy Hunger Network (IHN), a collective impact organization that works with the major hunger relief providers in the Greater Indianapolis area to address hunger at a broad scale. Their mission is to create a system that ensures anyone who is hungry can access the nutritious food they need. They work to improve the hunger relief system so it works better for everyone. Their three focus areas are nutrition, access, and sustainability.

This program exists to help food pantries increase capacity and increase operational effectiveness. They are interested in funding projects that will allow your pantry to adopt best practices serve more clients, distribute more food, increase the number of hours the pantry is open, or more effectively meet the needs of the community. They want to help your pantry make long-term improvements.

Funding Information

They have $82,000 to distribute in this cycle. They recommend applicants make requests up to $10,000. Larger requests will be considered, but are less likely to be fully funded.
