PCC best serves the local community by promoting diversity, excellence, access, and education in arts and culture by prioritizing the disbursement of funds to applicants and non-profit organizations who reside in Plymouth County. They are interested in supporting a broad scope of programs that will impact lives of their youth, adults and seniors. In order to ‘share the wealth’ they strive to approve as many qualified applicants, as feasible. Their ability to allocate funds is based on the quantity and dollar amount of grant requests received. They favor funding town or county residents and non-profits organizations.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must reside or be located in Massachusetts. Local Cultural Councils may accept applications from anyone included in the following list:
- Individuals
- Incorporated private nonprofit organizations.
- Unincorporated associations that can establish a nonprofit objective.
- Public schools, libraries, other municipal agencies, and the Local Cultural Council itself.
- Religious organizations.
