For the spring round, the Small Grants program accepted applications in four program areas. Please identify which program area applies to your request in the application form:
- Charitable and humane purposes
- Special or new recreation for Bostonians
- Recreational areas for children
- To adorn and embellish Boston’s streets and public spaces
Funding Information
Grants range from $500 to $2,000 depending on availability of funds and demonstrated need.
Eligibility Criteria
- You must be a nonprofit or community organization partnering with a fiscal agent (501c3 or the City)
- Projects and programs must occur in Boston for the benefit of Bostonians. In the case of summer trips for children, the trips should start in Boston and serve Boston children.
- You must have two contact people
- You must commit to submit a post-project report documenting how the funds were expended.
- You have not received a grant from the program within the past year. There’s only one grant per organization per year.
