Eligibility Criteria
- Service organizations, formal and informal neighborhood groups, nonprofit groups, and for profit entities are eligible to apply for projects that promote community building.
- Examples of Projects Tier I Mini-Grants may fund:
- Neighborhood cleanups
- Community gardens
- Community spaces (benches, gardens, etc.)
- Neighborhood events (e.g. picnics, outdoor movie night, ice cream social)
- Neighborhood tool library or food pantry (would need a plan for continued operation)
- Other innovative ideas to bring neighborhoods together.
- Projects not eligible for Tier I grants: fundraising and profit-motivated events, political or religious events.
