The Forney Small Business and Nonprofit Grant Program is a separate program with funds allocated to small businesses and nonprofits subject to different requirements, households and individuals cannot apply.
Funding Information
- The Forney Household Grant Program will distribute $500 one-time grants to eligible households which have been disproportionately impacted by the COVID-19 public health emergency.
- The Forney Small Business and Nonprofit Grant Program will distribute $1,500 one-time grants to eligible small businesses and nonprofits which have been disproportionately impacted by the COVID-19 public health emergency.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must also meet other eligibility requirements:
- Be one of the following organizations types;
- 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(4) nonprofit, or
- A non-franchise business employing less than 500 people within one of the following industries; travel, tourism or hospitality
- Serve Forney residents
- Have initiated operations before January 1, 2020, and be currently in operation
- Operate from a physical address within the City of Forney
- Have not been closed for illegal activity
- Not be delinquent on City taxes and/or fees.
