Community Crisis Response Fund for Nonprofits in Maryland

Dated: October 18, 2022

The Community Crisis Response Fund was established to provide flexible financial assistance to Anne Arundel County nonprofits immediately following a violent incident, natural disaster or other crisis in their community.

Donor Name: Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County (CFAAC)

State: Maryland

County: Anne Arundel County (MD)

Type of Grant: Grant

Deadline: 11/18/2022

Size of the Grant: $10,000 and $50,000

Details:

CFAAC recognizes that the COVID-19 pandemic presented significant challenges for area organizations, and its impact is still being felt by some of the most vulnerable members of our community.

Grants will provide financial assistance to eligible nonprofits that identify solutions to the needs identified in the 2022 Poverty Amidst Plenty Community Needs Assessment Report and who sustained a loss of income/revenue and/or an increase of programming or expenses due to COVID-19 impact on their operations and the communities they serve.

Priority for this grantmaking will be directed to support community nonprofit organizations impacted by COVID-19 as they support vulnerable communities and communities who have been disproportionately impacted by the pandemic.

Funding Information

Grant sizes will range between $10,000 and $50,000.

Organizations may use funding to support programs that provide critical services in their community. Successful proposals for funding will align with the needs identified in the 2022 Poverty Amidst Plenty Needs Assessment Report.
