Award Information
The recipient of the 2023 Mahathir Science Award will receive a prize of USD100, 000, a gold medal, and a certificate. In receiving the award, the winner will also cooperate with MSAF to promote the tropical sciences through engagement sessions.

- They would like to invite qualified individuals from your institution to submit nominations for the Award.
- They hope to be able to recognize remarkable contributions through the Award to further promote advancement in the tropical sciences. For this to be achieved, they seek your kind cooperation to disseminate information on the Award to your network, furthering their reach to ensure that no contribution is overlooked.
- The selection of the award winner is based on the originality of the work, and its impact and significance in solving the problems of the tropics by improving the quality of life and contributing to the region’s prosperity.
