Funding priorities

  • Clearly defined, short-term projects that provide long-term benefits to the Portland metro community. Projects must take place in Multnomah, Clackamas, or Washington County.
  • Preference will be given to programs that support education and youth development, housing and human services, the arts, environmental and conservation, and animal welfare.

Eligibility Criteria

  • No purchase is necessary and Advantis membership is not required.
  • Eligible organizations must currently be a registered 501 (c) 3 nonprofit and recognized in the Guidestar.
  • Projects must be completed for the amount of the grant awarded. Grow grant funds may not become part of a pool of funds designated for larger projects.
  • Organizations are not eligible to receive an Advantis Grow grant two consecutive years.
  • Organizations are not allowed to purchase votes online. Additionally, the use of robotic or automatic devices for voting is prohibited and Advantis reserves the right to nullify any such votes and to disqualify the responsible organization. Any attempt by any person to vote more than the number of times authorized herein, using any third party proxy voting services, using multiple names or email addresses and/or any other fraudulent mechanisms, including robotic, automatic, programmed or similar methods, shall give Advantis, in its sole discretion, the right to disqualify the organization.
  • Applications must be submitted through the Advantis website to be eligible for funding. Paper or emailed applications will not be accepted.
