Eligibility Criteria
- Any charitable organization or cause can apply for funding through the Make a Difference grant process
- Organizations or causes who do not have an approved 501(c)(3) charitable status by the IRS will need a fiscal sponsor who is a 501(c)(3) as their grant administrator.
Evaluation Criteria
Applications will be evaluated on the following criteria:
- Merit and quality of the application
- Impact upon Huntington County (present and/or future)
- Known and anticipated community needs
- Number of persons benefited/affected by the proposal
- A clear, complete, and comprehensible statement of particulars including:
- needs to be addressed
- proposed actions to meet the stated needs
- stated measurable goals for the requested funding
- capability and likelihood of applicant achieving the stated goals of the proposed grant.
