The Community Connections Grant Fund is seeking creative projects that will enhance the quality of life for the benefit of the greater community.
Funding Information
- The Community Economic Development Program has made $30,000 available to create the Community Connections Fund.
- Grants are available of up to $30,000.
- There is no match requirement.
- The grant is reimbursement based, meaning the project must be completed in order to receive the funds.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be a non-profit (501c3), community group, municipality or school located in Lewis County, NY
- Projects or programs must demonstrate a creative approach to enhance quality of life, foster community connections, and provide opportunities that benefit the greater community; cannot fund existing programming or operations.
- Funding can NOT fund existing programming, operations or projects that have already been started.
- Applicants must demonstrate sustainability of the project or program in future years given this is a one-time grant.
- Non-profits (501c3), community groups, municipalities and schools are eligible to apply.
Evaluation Criteria
- Project must demonstrate how their proposed project or program will enhance the quality of life for the benefit of the greater community.
- Project should demonstrate a creative approach to connecting the community.
- Project must demonstrate sustainability after the initial funding from the Community Connections Fund.
- Project must be completed within 1 year of receiving funding.
