Grant awards are recommended by the Apostle Islands Area Community Fund Advisory Board for initiatives that meet the changing needs of Madeline Island in the following areas:
- Health and Safety
- Education
- Children
- Cultural Activities
- Environment
Projects that affect Children and youth within the outlined areas will be a higher priority. Ongoing program support is a low priority.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible to apply for funding, an organization must:
- Applicants must be located on or providing services to residents of Madeline Island
- Organizations must classified as charitable under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code or public agencies under Section 170(c)(1).
