The WPI fellowship is a 40-hour experiential learning curriculum designed to train community leaders in public policy advocacy. Rooted in gender and racial equity, training sessions will build the skills necessary to successfully move policy, including organizing, civic engagement, and leadership.
Women’s Foundation of Alabama seeks independent-thinkers from a breadth of backgrounds and experiences. The Fellowship is open to anyone who wants to lead on the path to systems change for women in Alabama.
Funding Information
Fellows who complete the required time (90% of training) will receive a $500 stipend.
Eligibility Criteria
- It encourages applicants of any race, color, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, religion, disability, or status as a veteran living in Alabama who are committed to advocating for policies that improve the status of and opportunities for women in state.
- must be age 18 or above
