Details:

One of the Local Development Council’s primary responsibilities is to provide public input on a multi-year plan for the expenditure of local impact grants. These funds are a portion of gaming revenue dedicated by law for use primarily in the communities in immediate proximity to National Harbor.

Funding Information

In this round of funding, organizations may request up to $50,000.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Any organization, institution, or association that is incorporated as a non-profit organization designated under 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
  • Organizations that are located within and/or provide services or activities within a 6-mile radius of the MGM Resort.
  • Organizations must be able to supply sufficient documentation that their organization is currently in “good standing” from the State where the organization was incorporated (i.e., the State of Maryland, District of Columbia, or the Commonwealth of Virginia).
