Funding Information
- In total, the fund will distribute up to $100,000 across selected applicants, providing significant support to initiatives that enrich the community.
- The minimum request for any proposal is $250 and the maximum request shall not exceed $25,000.
Eligibility Criteria
- Any non-profit registered as a 501(c)3 organization that serves the residents of Granby is eligible to apply. Nonprofits do not need to be based in Granby, as long as the proposed project serves Granby residents.
- Organizations or groups of town residents that do not have a 501(c)3 may submit an application with the support of a registered nonprofit that has agreed to serve as a fiscal sponsor (also known as a fiscal agent) for the proposed project. The City/Town of Granby may also serve as a fiscal sponsor for applicants.
- Those not eligible to apply include individuals without fiscal sponsors, for-profit businesses, 509(a)3 charities, sectarian or religious programs, or private foundations. However, grants can fund religious organizations/faith communities to do non-religious activities as long as the activity is open to everyone regardless of their religious affiliation and supports the community beyond its congregation.
