The intended use of grant funds is to improve the lives of people in Shelby County. The Foundation reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to award grants of any amount, for any time period, and under any structure that it deems appropriate. Challenge and matching grants may be eligible for funding.
Grant Period
Grants are awarded for a one-year period only.
Eligibility Criteria
- Any nonprofit organization which has a functional board of directors and proof of 501(c)(3) status is eligible to apply
- Applicants must be based in Shelby County or have existing services in Shelby County.
- Capital projects are funded only on a matching basis
- Please note that grants will NOT be made for the following:
- Religious Education
- Animal-serving organizations
- Administrative Expenses.
