These grants are an opportunity for nonprofit organizations to introduce unique or otherwise cost-prohibitive programming or to support existing programming that serves youth in Lakewood.
Project proposals compete directly with other proposals and are evaluated based on criteria including the benefit to Lakewood youth, nonprofit status, and scholarship opportunities, with extra credit given to those organizations that provide programs and services to underserved populations.
Funding Information
Grants of up to $100,000 are available for a youth program or organization serving children, with a total of $400,000 to be awarded in 2025.
Eligibility Criteria
Youth Program applications will compete directly with all other applications received based on the following criteria:
- Programs and services that serve Lakewood youth
- Registered with Secretary of State
- 501C3 status
- 3 years of operation
- Additional consideration will be given to those applications who offer programs and services for underserved populations in Lakewood and/or the business is located in Lakewood.
- Additional consideration will also be given to those applications requesting funds for scholarships that are eligible to Lakewood youth.
