The Giving Circle is the philanthropic arm of the Philadelphia Chapter of Women’s Connection, a national organization of professional women aged 50 and forward who seek to continue a life of learning, engagement, and leadership in the world.
The Giving Circle of Women’s Connection Philadelphia’s focus for 2025 is Juvenile Justice. Eligible organizations will serve youth, ages 10-18, whose mission and/or programs address the needs of youth at all stages of their interaction with the juvenile justice system, as well as youth at risk of an interaction with the system. Nonprofit organizations located in Philadelphia advocating for reform in the juvenile justice system are also eligible.
Funding Information
Three grants of at least $20,000 each will be awarded for General Operating Support.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicant organizations must meet the following criteria:
- Primarily serve youth residing in Philadelphia.
- Have a 501(c)(3) public charity exempt status from the IRS or a fiscal sponsorship confirmation for a minimum of two years.
- Have a general operating budget for the most recent fiscal year end of $2 million or less.
- Have not received a grant from Giving Circle of Women’s Connection Philadelphia, or its predecessor, in the past 3 grant cycles.
- Do not promote a particular religious or political ideology.
