Eligible Grover Beach businesses can now apply for a new grant program designed to support local businesses in the area of West Grand Avenue Streetscape Project construction. This initiative focuses on assisting businesses located within the construction area, which extends from Highway 1 to 10th Street.
Any business in the project area can apply with a priority given to businesses that are public facing such as restaurants, cafes, and personal care services.

Eligibility Criteria
- The business is located in Grover Beach, open to any business on West Grand Avenue and surrounding block between Highway 1 and 10th Street.
- The business must have a current Business Tax Certificate in the City of Grover Beach.
- The business is able to demonstrate a clear need for grant funding and a level of economic loss due to the West Grand Avenue Street Construction with grant funding provided to businesses demonstrating the greatest need.
- West Grand Avenue Grant Program is intended to cover employee costs, rent, utilities, or other operating expenses.
- The business is in good standing in the community and conducts responsible business activities as well as, be in good standing with the Secretary of State
- The business is able to report to the City on the use of grant funds by June 30, 2025.
