Eligible applicants can apply in one of two categories:
- Individual
- Funding for individual young artists.
- Organization/School
- Funding for schools, arts organizations, collaboratives, youth arts councils or clubs.
Award Amount
- Individuals
- Individuals can request between $250 and $750, based on eligible expenses.
- Organizations
- Applicants can request the following flat grant amounts: $500, $1,000, $1,500.

Grant funds may be used for any of the following (this list is not comprehensive):
- Individuals
- Organizations
- Artist, consultant, and other fees
- Materials or supplies
- Travel costs
- Equipment or technology which directly support the project activities
- Space/rental fees
- Documentation
Eligibility Criteria
- Individuals
- Arizona artists under the age of 20 years-old.
- For activities taking place January 1 – June 30, 2022.
- Organizations
- Project is majority youth-led. An adult’s role is as an ally or accomplice supporting and ensuring youth leadership and shared decision making.
- Project provides an artistic experience for the direct benefit of young people under the age of 20 in Arizona.
- For projects taking place through January 1 – June 30, 2022.
- Applicant organizations must be Arizona nonprofit organizations with tax-exempt status, schools/ districts, or units of government who are majority youth-led (20 years-old and under). This may include collaboratives, youth arts councils or clubs. Unincorporated organizations who are otherwise eligible, may apply with a nonprofit fiscal sponsor.
