It provides funding to support nonprofit organizations that offer professional development and skills-building activities, including structured courses, workshops, trainings, and unique internship programs to West Virginia artists. To be eligible, activities must be open to the public.
Funding Information
- Up to 50 percent of eligible costs, not to exceed $5,000.
- The projects occur between January and June 30.

- 501 (c)(3) WV community organizations incorporating the arts into their mission
- In addition
- Organizations are eligible for ONE Professional Development grant award per year
- Arts Partners are NOT eligible for this grant opportunity
- In addition, all applicants must submit documentation of
- Contracted fees and services, including as applicable: artists’ and professionals’ fees, travel expenses, lodging and meals.
- Work samples and resumes of visiting artists/ instructors/teachers
- Signed contracts.
