Available funding for these projects is between $2 million and $2.5 million in funding. The grant award for Community Service Projects ranges from $10,000 to $250,000. The grant award for Housing Projects ranges from $10,000 to $2.5 million.
All activities for this grant must service City of Dover residence and encourages assistance to be provided in low to moderate income communities impacted by the pandemic.
Eligible Projects
Eligible projects include but are not limited to, food assistance, rent, mortgage and utility assistance, counseling and legal aid to prevent eviction and homelessness, emergency assistance for burials, home repairs and weatherization, grants to assist small businesses impacted by COVID 19, development of affordable and supportive housing, support services for people experiencing or at risk of experiencing homelessness, and the purchase of personal protective equipment to support the prevention and mitigation in health care and congregate living facilities.
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum eligibility requirements for a Nonprofit Organization
- Grant applications will only be accepted for projects responding to COVID 19 negative economic impact in the community
- Must be an established 501(c)(3) for at least 1 year and provide copies of tax returns
- All Nonprofit Organizations will be required to follow the Purchasing Policy and Procedures for the City of Dover
