- The Community Foundation of Macon County invites proposals in the areas of arts/culture/recreation, social services, conservation/environment, health, youth, and education.
- What is your organization’s greatest need right now? Do you have a one-time project that would address a critical need? Are you starting a new program or expanding a current one? Do you have an improvement project that’s beyond your organization’s means?
Funding Information
- 2023 total amount of funding available: $150,000
- Minimum grant amount: $10,000
- Maximum grant amount per organization: $25,000.
Eligibility Criteria
- Have 501(c) 3 status from the Internal Revenue Service or be a qualified charitable, religious or government organization.
- Organization must be located in Macon County, Illinois.
- The grantmaking process of The Community Foundation of Macon County prioritizes 501c3 organizations that are recognized by the IRS as operating public charities for a minimum of 3 years.
Types of Projects or Programs Not Supported
The Impact100 grant program does NOT provide grant funding for the following:
- Endowments
- Scholarships
- Debt reduction
- Capital campaigns
- Grants to individuals
- Costs already incurred
- For-profit entities
- Meals, diems, travel expenses, conference attendance
- Loans or assistance to be given to individuals, including gift cards, gift certificates, stipends or other incentives
- Political candidates or partisan purposes
- Projects/programs outside of Macon County
- Start up costs for new agencies (new programs or projects within an established agency are eligible).
