Donor Name: Nebraska Department of Economic Development

County: All Counties

Type of Grant: Grant

Deadline: 09/15/2023

Details:

The purpose of the Planning (PP) funding opportunity is to provide communities the opportunity to solve problems and meet citizen needs through an integrated community planning process that assesses community development needs, develops options for meeting those needs, and packages work plans or otherwise carries out strategic processes that provide the framework for successful projects directing resources toward State priorities.

Successful efforts shall involve strategic planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. The outcome of a successful planning process will ultimately provide information and data that will be used in future planning and implementation efforts. Successful projects arise from effective efforts to involve stakeholders and gain their support throughout the process.
