This is a $2.5 million fund that will be used to support eligible organizations that serve the small business community as they recover, stabilize, and grow from the impacts of COVID-19. Funds may be used to provide programs, projects, or services to the local small business community. The maximum grant is $250,000. Funds must be expended by December 2023.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the program the applicant must be a government agency, non-profit organization/501(c)3, academic organization, or Chamber of Commerce/501(c)6 that’s main purpose is to serve the local small business community.
You will be asked to provide/describe the following:
- Organization description
- Must be located in the City of Charlotte (Headquarters or Local Office)
- Must provide documentation that the organization has served the Charlotte business community for at least two years (i.e. annual reports or similar supporting documents)
- Organization mission/vision statement
- Documents supporting organization designation
- 501(c)3 letter
- 501(c)6 letter
- Cooperative Agreement with governmental agency
- Other supporting documentation
- Annual Audit (with two-year comparative financials), if applicable
- Federal Tax Returns for the previous two years
