Elevate! 2.0 is intended to connect 501(c)(3) nonprofit, human service organizations with resources to strengthen their organizational capacity, stabilize their organizations, and further their work.

Details:
Applicant organizations must be currently serving Columbus and Franklin County residents in one of the following focus areas: homelessness, housing stability, financial security, workforce development, infant vitality, chronic disease prevention, violence elimination, re-entry, and neighborhood building. Elevate! 2.0 funding is not intended for new programs or initiatives, rather, the City of Columbus wishes to support and strengthen nonprofit organizations’ ability to fulfill their mission, instead of supporting specific programs or projects. Organizations that have already received Elevate! funding in 2022 are ineligible to apply for Elevate! 2.0.

Eligibility Criteria
- Agencies must meet and check all of the following thresholds in order to be eligible for funding consideration.
- This Agency is not a previous recipient of Elevate! funding.
- This Agency is in good standing with the federal Internal Revenue Service.
- This Agency qualifies as an exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
- This Agency is in compliance with the State of Ohio Attorney General’s Office.
- This Funding Request is not supplanting other awarded federal funds.
- This Agency agrees to ensure no duplication of efforts for budgeted items, and that funds are used appropriately.
- This Agency agrees to the following statement for the provision of services: “To provide services without regard to race, religion, national origin, ethnicity, age, gender, gender identity & expression, disability, sexual orientation, veteran status, familial status or socio-economic status; and agrees to maintain a commitment to cultural competence and ongoing development of cultural competence capabilities of staff and organization.
