Ola Ka Lāhui- Vulnerable Populations Grants Purpose: Support programs and practices that strengthen the wellbeing of vulnerable populations, including Native Hawaiian kupuna; rural communities; LGBTQIA2S+ communities; and/or Native Hawaiians impacted by houselessness, incarceration, human trafficking, or intimate partner violence.
Funding Information
- Minimum Award Amount- $50,000.
- Maximum Award Amount- $500,000.
Grant Period
The applicant may select a grant award period of one (1) year, two (2) years, or three (3) years from the contract start date based on their project.
Geographic Service Areas
Geographic coverage of the project’s service and/or activities areas includes the islands of Hawai‘i, Maui, Lāna‘i, Moloka‘i, O‘ahu, and Kaua‘i.
Eligibility Criteria
Reminder, to be eligible for OHA Grant funding consideration, an applicant shall:
- Be registered to do business in the State of Hawaiʻi
- Non-profit Organizations
- Provide services to Native Hawaiians and/or Native Hawaiian community(ies) in the State of Hawaiʻi
- Have an IRS Letter of Determination.
