The amount available for Marion and Polk Counties for Phase 40 is $170,338 which is an increase of $13,347 from the prior phase.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible to apply for this funding opportunity, an organization must:

  • Be a 501(c)(3) non-profit or agency of government in good standing with the IRS
  • Be eligible to receive Federal funds
  • Have an accounting system
  • Have a valid Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN)
  • Have a Unique Entity ID issued by sam.gov
  • Practice non-discrimination (agencies with a religious affiliation, will not refuse service to a client based on religion, nor engage in religious proselytizing or religious counseling in any program receiving Federal funds)
  • Have the capacity to deliver emergency food programs
  • Have a voluntary board if private, not-for-profit​

    • Food Purchases
    • Home Delivery Meals (e.g., Meals on Wheels)
  • Shelter Services
    • Mass Shelters (e.g., local shelter facilities)
    • Hotel/Motel (up to 90 days per phase)
    • Rent/Mortgage (up to 3 months or 90 days per phase)
  • Supplies and Equipment Purchases
    • Cleaning Supplies for Shelters, Feeding Sites
    • Small Equipment Purchases Up To $300 per Item (e.g., microwave)
    • Personal Protective Equipment
  • Utility Services for Clients
    • (gas, electric, water), up to 3months or 90 days per phase
  • Administrative Allowance
    • 2% of Jurisdiction’s Award
    • Local Board Determines Use.
