The overall intent of this solicitation is to solicit partnerships to help provide outreach and education on USDA-NRCS programs.
The objective of this Notice of Funding Opportunity (NFO) is to solicit proposals for outreach and education geared toward multiple audiences that informs participants about NRCS conservation technical assistance and available opportunities through Farm Bill programs. Education may include information on how certain programs or practices can benefit various agricultural operations, assistance on how to apply for programs, or general outreach and education to promote NRCS services and programs. The goal is to use novel, innovative approaches to reach new populations of potential participants, especially historically underserved producers, Veteran farmers, or ranchers or community-based organizations comprised of or representing these entities.
Priorities
- Ensure equity in the delivery and implementation of all NRCS programs and services.
- Increase assistance for climate-smart agriculture and forestry to support producers in building resiliency across their operations.
- Expand conservation tools and support to address the unique needs of urban farmers and communities nationwide.
- Cultivate a complete and diverse workforce that has the right tools, technologies, and training to uphold the scientific integrity of NRCS.
- Leverage innovative partnerships to expand NRCS’s ability to get conservation on the ground effectively and efficiently.

Projects may be between one and three years in duration.
