All organizations interested in applying for funds for homeless services, homeless prevention, youth, special needs populations, affordable housing, fair housing services, and public facilities and infrastructure improvement categories are highly encouraged to attend this meeting.
The program’s primary objectives are to: develop viable urban communities, including decent housing and a suitable living environment, and expand economic opportunities, principally for persons of low- and very low-income status.
Funding Information
The City receives approximately $830,000 in CDBG funds each year, but it can vary depending on the allocation that is received from HUD. Of the $830,000 up to 15% of the funds (~ $120,000 can be allocated towards Public Service Projects).
