In accordance with the administration of the CDBG Entitlement funding, the City’s Office of Community Development has prepared a five-year Consolidated Plan which serves as the long-range plan for spending the City’s annual CDBG allocations. This plan sets forth community needs, long-range program goals, specific program objectives, annual goals and benchmarks for measuring the program’s progress
Funding Information
The City must also prepare its Annual Action Plan for the 2023 Fiscal Year (“FY”), which runs from July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024. This is a short-term plan detailing the use of the upcoming fiscal year’s allocation, which is estimated to be approximately $650,000.
Eligibility Criteria
Groups and Organizations are allowed to request CDBG funding for eligible projects and programs situated within the City of Kingston.
