CDBG funds will be utilized towards eligible Community Facilities and Services grant projects within two targeted categories:
- Community Centers, Libraries and Parks- Up to $3 Million Dollars
- Sidewalks and Trails- Up to $1 Million Dollars
The funding ceiling for a Community Facilities and Services grant will be $2,000 per beneficiary capped off at the criteria below.
Funding Information
Funding amounts are determined by beneficiaries with max award of $600,000 for populations of 5,000 or less, and max award of $750,000 for populations of 5,000 or more. Funding ceiling is calculated at $2,000 per beneficiary up to the maximum based on population. A 25% local match is required.
Eligibility Criteria
To receive CDBG funds, a project must meet at least one of the following federally mandated criteria:
- Benefits low- and/or moderate-income individuals
- Removes or prevents slum or blighted conditions
- Eliminates an urgent need created by a disaster when local funds are unavailable.
