ADF&G anticipates having $4.3 million or more available; the final amount will not be known until after the CFP opens. Funding will be allocated by NOAA between the following three project categories:
- Habitat conservation or restoration projects in areas utilized by subsistence stocks ($1,100,000 or more in anticipated funding)
- Habitat conservation, restoration, or resiliency assessment projects in areas that may or may not be utilized by subsistence stocks ($1,000,000 or more in anticipated funding)
- Monitoring and assessment of populations utilized for subsistence projects ($2,200,000 or more in anticipated funding)

Request a minimum of $30,000 in AKSSF funds (not including match).
Eligibility Criteria
All types of entities (including nonprofit organizations, commercial organizations, universities, government organizations, and individuals) are welcome to apply. Eligible entities must not be debarred or suspended from participation in federal assistance programs. Federal agncies must have the authority to receive federal funds through the PCSRF (each federal applicant must submit the AKSSF Federal Authority Form documenting the authorizing U.S. Code with its application).
