Awarded artists and up to five other collaborators will receive a one week long residency at Petronio Residency Center in Round Top, N.Y.
Benefits
- PRC is located in Round Top NY, 2 1/2 to 3 hours north of NYC in the gorgeous Catskill Mountains.
- PRC provides full room and board including groceries, catered dinners, all linens, high speed internet, and unlimited use of house and studio for a one week period in March 2022. Weeks begin with Monday dinner and end after breakfast the following Sunday.
- $1,000 stipend to lead artist
- $500 transportation stipend towards car rental (We strongly recommend keeping a car on site, but if not possible can make arrangements for a bus/train pick up and drop off at the end of residency.)
Eligibility Criteria
- Lead artist can choose to bring a partner or family as long as the total number is not more than 5 residents for week. Please note that they do not allow pets at PRC.
- All residents MUST BE FULLY VACCINATED and submit a negative PCR test within 72 hours of arrival.
- PRC has a commitment to equity including QTPOC, parent and women artists.
- PRC is not fully accessible at this time, but most of its facility would serve an array of artists with disabilities and we will do our best to make any/all accommodations.
