- Business must be located in the Takoma Commercial Corridor.
- Old Takoma Business Association will not provide a grant to any of the following types of businesses/entities:
- Home-based businesses
- Churches
- Nonprofit organizations
- Gas and service stations
- Banks
- Government agencies
- Medical Practices
- Professional Service Organizations
- Real Estate Companies
Eligible Projects
- Façade Improvements – lighting, signage, awnings, painting, patio improvements, doors, windows
- Physical property improvements – lighting, flooring, shelves
- Equipment purchase – point of sale, refrigerator, air conditioning, other business equipment, security systems, interior lighting*
- Rent, wages, utilities
