The KPMG Future Leaders Program annually awards twenty-two top female high school seniors with significant financial need, the opportunity to accelerate their personal growth through college scholarships, leadership development, mentorship, and an introduction to golf. Funded by proceeds from the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship and KPMG Women’s Leadership Summit, the program’s focus is to empower and advance these promising leaders of tomorrow.

The (22) selected KPMG Future Leader Recipients will receive:

  • An annual scholarship of $10,000 per year for 4 years of college
  • A KPMG Future Leaders Retreat and ongoing support that will focus on leadership training, the college transition and career development
  • A pairing with an executive mentor for one year; the mentor being a senior business leader that attended the KPMG Women’s Leadership Summit

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants meeting the following criteria are encouraged to apply:

  • Be enrolled as a high school senior female student (traditional or homeschool), progressing normally toward graduation or completion of high school at the end of the 2022-2023 school year, and planning to enroll in a 4-year undergraduate program at a college or university no later than the 2023 fall semester following the completion of high school.
  • Intend to major in a business or a STEM track.
  • Provide a statement of financial need in the essay section of the applicant’s application (household income NOT to exceed $75,000 per year).
  • Be a citizen of the United States, or be a U.S. lawful permanent resident.
  •  Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.5 or higher.
  • Demonstrate exceptional academic and leadership ability.
  • Exhibit strong community involvement.
  •  Provide a letter of recommendation from a community or school organization to be attached to the applicant’s application for review.
  • This person must speak to your character and leadership ability.
  • The applicant will also need to provide a copy of their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application or Student Aid Report (SAR) as part of the Federal Pell Grant Program or University financial aid application form or a reward letter to either program.
  • Available to participate in the KPMG Future Leaders retreat focusing on leadership training, career development, and the college transition. Please note, we are hoping to plan for an in-person retreat in Summer 2023. However, the health and safety of their participants is their top priority. They will continue assessing the situation and consider a virtual model if necessary.

Note: Students whose tuition fees are already paid in full by any sponsoring agency, employment or government program are not eligible. Under NCAA rules, students whose tuition is paid for in full with an athletic scholarship are not eligible.
