Through this grant initiative, SFS seeks to support and spotlight qualifying Utah-area non-profit organizations engaged in innovative and impactful community development activities. Twenty-one (21) non-profit organizations will be selected and each receive a $2,100 grant to help further their mission.

$2,100 per grant to 21 nonprofit organizations engaged in community development work in the state of Utah.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for this grant award you must:
- Be a public organization with a 501(c)3 tax-exempt status
- Have a physical office in the state of Utah
- Not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sexual orientation, or national origin
- Participate in one of the following community development activities:
- affordable housing
- small business development
- reentry support and entrepreneurship
- financial capability and wellness
Selection Criteria
- Quality and strength of the applying organization to achieve goals
- Innovativeness and effectiveness of the application, project and/or organization
- Potential impact on the Utah community
- Alignment with Square Financial Services’ core values and organizational pillars
