The Dome House Al & Mickey Quinlan Artist Residency is open to one artist residing in the Midwest states of Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota. The program aims to give artists working in the fine art mediums of drawing, painting, printmaking, photography and other mediums the space and support to create work in an inspiring and unique location, in addition to providing opportunities for public access to an artist at work through supplemental programming and educational content for the community.
The Al & Mickey Quinlan Residency is an 8-week fall program scheduled for August 15 – October 9, 2022, created and led in partnership with the Miller Art Museum.
Funding Information
Artists will receive a $500 stipend to support creative endeavors while in residence. Artists are expected to cover all other personal living expenses, additional materials, and supplies.
The stipend is to be used for professional supplies, shipping of supplies and artwork, and, if applicable, other residency-related expenses outside of the Miller’s stated obligations. The stipend can also be used for personal expenses outside of the residency. No receipts or accounting of expenditures are required.
