The purpose of the Fund is to encourage projects which physically improve and enhance the natural environment, and quality thereof, in Greenup County, Kentucky, and to support educational or research projects that promote or develop these goals.
Goals
- Improve the quality of life in the tri-state area
- Test or demonstrate new approaches and techniques in the solution of important community problems
- Strengthen non-profit agencies and institutions by reducing operating costs, increasing public financial support, and/or improving internal management
- Use community resources to promote coordination, cooperation and sharing among organizations to eliminate duplicated services
- Help meet an organization’s regulatory burden
- Expand capacity to support new, successful programs or replicate successful programs in new areas.

- Eligible applicants include 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt charities and other organizations that meet their special charitable grant guidelines.
