The goal is to stimulate the development of programs in the vitiligo community that increase disease awareness, support individuals with vitiligo and caregivers, improve patient care, or benefit people with vitiligo in other ways.
Funding Information
$10,000.00 each year is allocated to this grant program. Typical awards will range from $100.00 to $1,000.00 (direct costs only) but are contingent upon the availability of funds and receipt of sufficiently meritorious applications.
Eligibility Criteria
Currently, only organizations established as 501(c) 3 in the United States are eligible to apply. The program leader must be personally and actively responsible for the conduct of the proposed project. If that grant is awarded, it will be granted to the established 501(c)3 organization only. Both the applicant and the sponsor must sign the application.
- Must be incorporated in the United States as a 501(c)3 or partner with a 501(s)3 organization. Proof of incorporation or partnership will be required at the time you submit your application.
- The organization must have a mission that supports one of the following:
- Provide Vitiligo support, care, or education.
- To advance Vitiligo treatment options.
- Find a cure.
- The organization must have a mission that supports one of the following:
Review Criteria
Reviewers will be asked to base their evaluations on the criteria below:
- Relevance to vitiligo
- Innovation
- Strategy is well-reasoned and appropriate to accomplish the aims
- Ability of the program to accomplish the aims
- Potential problems, alternative strategies, and benchmarks for success are presented.
