Eligibility Criteria
To apply, applicants:
- Must be a current graduating senior or former graduate of Wood River Rural High School in Wood River, Nebraska who is attending Central Community College (Columbus, Hastings, Grand Island) or Concordia University OR a student enrolled in nursing at Central Community College in Grand Island or Concordia University. Preference will be given to seniors or graduates of Wood River Rural High School and those majoring in nursing, dental hygiene or electrical technology.
- Must have a High School GPA of 3.0 or greater, and maintain a minimum college GPA of 2.8 or above each semester. Preference will be given to applicants who have shown involvement in high school, college and community activities.
- Who qualify for the Federal Pell Grant will not be considered for this scholarship, but financial need is a consideration.
